The Garmin GPSMAP 292 is compatible with the new-generation BlueChart® G2 series marine cartography—and featuring an enhanced worldwide basemap for extra-detailed depictions of shorelines, roads and surface features—Garmin’s sleek GPSMAP 292C is a major step forward in nautical chartplotting. Its crisp, sunlight-readable, 5-inch TFT display offers exceptional resolution, a fast redraw rate, improved graphics, and a wealth of user features. Multiple routes, 3,000-waypoint storage, retraceable tracks, alarms, and more are all designed to make navigation easier and safer than ever. A mariner’s-eye-view 3D map perspective is available with the newer BlueChart G2 software option. And to add depth to your analysis, the GPSMAP 292C is compatible with Garmin’s GSD series remote sounder units.

A UK version of the GPSMAP 292 comes pre-loaded with UK and Ireland BlueChart g2 marine map detail.

  • 68 waypoint symbols
  • Alarms for anchor drag, arrival, off-course, proximity waypoint, clock, low battery voltage and GPS accuracy
  • Graphically displays positioning data with DSC-equipped VHF radios
  • Power down backup of settings: customer settings are not lost when the unit is turned off
