- The chart data is seamless and the user buys an area of coverage rather than a folio of discrete electronic charts.
- In that area, the user has the complete cartographic data set and can zoom out for a overview or zoom right in for maximum detail, usually right down to the marina berth.
There are 2 area sizes:
- Local or Wide, each with increasingly large geographical coverage.
