More about Helly Hansen

RRP: £35
Year: 2006

Description:
The Helly Hansen LIFA ProWool Pant Base Layer Long Underwear are designed to compliment your Prowool top to provide warmth, moisture control and overall comfort even in the coldest conditions.

The Helly Hansen LIFA ProWool Pant Base Layer Long Underwear is a thermal base layer pant for cold weather conditions. Prowool combines LIFA Stay Dry Technology with Merino wool, providing both efficient moisture transfer and warmth. LIFA Prowool basically has two layers, LIFA inside and Merino wool outside. The LIFA interior of Prowool pulls perspiration and moisture vapor away from the skin and then pushes it to the outside layer of the Merino wool. The absorbent wool wicks away the moisture, keeping both skin and LIFA dry and warm.

Made of 55% LIFA (polypropelene), 36% Merino wool and 9% nylon for durability, this thicker base layer (200g/m2) offers a unique combination of thermal insulation and rapid moisture transfer with its two layer construction. It has a natural resistance to microbial growth and odor retention. Its low-bulk flat lock seams ensure a maximum comfort without itching or chafing.

Features:
  • 55% polypropylene /36% Merino wool / 9% nylon
  • Double face knit construction with polopropylene next to the skin and
  • Merino wool on the exterior face, with nylon for durability
