'USED FOR YEARS WITHOUT ANY FAILURE'

Weaknesses:
If something from the bilge gets lodged under the float switch will stay on and if set as a live bilge water eye will flatten batteries and poss. burn out pump-had both of these happen on my old slightly leaky wooden boat.So dont rely on it over extended period!
