Gill UK has been chosen by one of the world's top sailors, Riccardo Simoneschi, to supply all-weather gear for his 22-man squad during his demanding three-boat campaign in 2006.
Riccardo was the Melges 24 Acura Miami Race Week 2005 Champion and Boat of the Week winner, and is currently well up leading the 26-entry Melges 24's to defend his title in Miami against a strong international and national fleet at Acura Miami Race Week 2006.
Riccardo (Genoa, Italy) and his team have been supplied with a complete range of Gill technical performance clothing and accessories to cover the busy 2006 racing schedule in the Melges 24, TP52 and IMS 600 classes.
The Gill gear is required to cover every eventuality racing conditions can fling at the team across these three highly competitive classes and includes Gill KB Racer suits, technical i2 Tec base and i3 and i4 mid layer garments, through to Softshell Jackets, Dinghy Smocks, Drysuits, Gloves, Boots and the new Gill Gripper shoes.
