RIBEX for Cowes in MayBy The Main Sail |  | | |
RIBEX 2006, the international show for the latest in rigid inflatables, is to be held from 12-14 May at Cowes Yacht Haven. With the market for RIBs rapidly evolving, a number of companies will be launching new product and the big names will be there to protect their status - among them Scorpion, Revenger and Avon.
New craft will include the 10 metre Norwegian-built stepped-hull Arctic Blue. Other debuts will be Caesar Marine with their brand new 8.5 meter 90mph sports cruiser, and a new offering from TP Marine of the Netherlands. Much anticipation surrounds the very first RIB model from UK premier motor-yacht builder, Hunton Powerboats.
As well as a whole array of RIBs of all sizes and types, RIBEX will have tenders and other inflatables, plus key products from engines to gear on display. The show will include sea-trials, demonstrations and public interactive event, plus UIM championship RIB racing.
