Parker 235

The Parker 235 is a lifting keel trailer sailer. The builder has over twenty years of experience of this type of craft. The keel can be raised from the cockpit and she can dry out on mud sand or gravel. With keel lifted the boat has a twelve inch draught.

There is a large comfortable cockpit with safe side decks, forward anchor well deck and access to large forward bow locker. Within the cockpit there is situated a large port side stowage locker, outboard motor well in the cockpit floor, with hull aperture to allow the outboard engine to be raised when the craft is drying out. All sail and keel controls are arranged from the cabin top winches and clutches for easier handling from the cockpit. Included in the cockpit is a transom folding boarding ladder and provision for fitting a standard saloon table. There is easy access to a light and spacious interior having a head clearance in the saloon of 5ft 5in. This practicable lay-out is comfortable for four people living aboard. There is an aft thwartship double berth, stowage lockers and two large saloon berths with stowage lockers below. There is a central toilet compartment, hand basin, water pump and electric flush chemical toilet leading to a large forward locker.

On the starboard side is the central galley area comprising of a sink, crockery drainage bin, single (Gaz) hob unit, below there is a large cool locker and above the worktop area are storage shelves for cutlery/crockery and equipment.
