The striking new Broadblue 415, which made its world debut at the 2007 Southampton Boat Show, is appearing for the first time at the Collins Stewart London Boat Show 2008 (January 11-20 at ExCeL).
The 415 is the latest model from Ipswich-based Broadblue Catamarans, and has already achieved a number of advanced orders, completing the company's order book for 2008.
“The success of the 415 over the last four months has been fantastic, with many enquiries resulting in confirmed orders. Our design team have worked exceptionally hard to create a superb fleet of semi-custom blue water cruisers which are primarily designed for the individual owner rather than the charter market. We anticipate a great level of interest at London, which is the first of many international shows the 415 will attend this year,” said sales manager Rupert Knox-Johnston.
The Broadblue 415 marks the launch of Broadblue's next generation of catamarans, being the first model with an optional OSSA Powerlite propulsion system. This diesel electric drive is said to offer an extremely quiet, cost-effective and eco-friendly alternative to a diesel engine.
Intended as a family cruiser, the spacious 415 has plenty of live aboard room. It is available with a variety of layout options. On deck there is plentiful space for relaxation and a sizable cockpit.
The 415 is a high volume catamaran which the company says is built to the highest standards, combining elegant interior styling with sleek, safe and powerful sailing performance. She is priced from £239,995 excluding VAT.
Visitors to the Collins Stewart London Boat Show can see the Broadblue 415 on display in the show's marina.
