As part of a new range of all-weather bags recently launched at the London Boat Show, Gill has introduced the aptly named, ergonomic Hull bag.
Its unusual tapered shape has been specially designed to fit comfortably into the narrow hull or stern compartments of a yacht. A rounded base has also been included for easy upright stacking, while a semi-transparent, mesh-reinforced window allows you to see the contents without having to open the bag to find what's inside.
Made from highly durable puncture-resistant material, the Hull bag has welded seams and a full-length water-resistant zip, to create what the manufacture claims is a completely waterproof product. For easy carrying, it not only has a shoulder strap, but also comes equipped with grab handles on the front, back and side. Retailing at £17, it won't break the bank either.
Other bags in Gill's new luggage range include the Duffle bag (£75), Navigator bag (£75) and Wet and Dry Cylinder bag (£45). The whole range all have the same waterproof qualities as the Hull bag, along with a selection of other features.
The Duffle bag has a watertight roll-top closure that opens the entire length of the bag for easy access, while making the bag completely waterproof. There's a water-resistant pocket on the outside, compression straps, large grab handle and a padded shoulder strap. The Navigator Bag is ideal for laptops, charts and basically, anything! Designed in the classic courier bag style, it features a large water-resistant zipped front pocket to store pens, phone, keys etc.
