MDL Marinas has acquired Sparkes Marina in Hayling Island. The 180-berth marina, which also has swinging moorings and dry sailing facilities, became fully operational as an MDL site today (January 22nd) and will continue to be known as Sparkes Marina.
Mike Glanville, who has been appointed to run Sparkes, commented: “I am very excited about taking the helm at this superb marina. I have a great existing team supporting me, with some of them having worked at Sparkes for a number of years. This team coupled with a fantastic location will be a excellent addition to the existing MDL locations along the South Coast.”
MDL has plans to update the marina facilities in the near future, including the installation of WiFi, which can be found at all of MDL's UK marinas.
