Zodiac introduce Cadet 260 Roll-Up

Zodiac Cadet 260 Roll-Up Inflatable manufacturers Zodiac International have introduced a new Roll-Up version to the Cadet 260 range. Already available with either an inflatable or plywood floor, the latest 2.60m (8' 6”) design includes a rollable, slatted wood design. It is said to be easier to transport as it is much lighter than a traditional wooden floor.

The dinghy is capable of seating up to three adults and one child. The slatted floor moulds to the shape of the Cadet 260 when the tubes are inflated, and can be removed and stowed away in its carrying bag without dismantling the slats.

Wide buoyancy tubes provide stability and are said to offer good spray protection and the dinghy comes completely equipped with an oarlock system that holds the oars correctly in place. The Cadet 260 can be fitted with a 4-stroke outboard engine up to 4hp.

The highly durable fabric, Strongan™ Duotex™, used on the Cadet is completely airtight. This means that the buoyancy tubes do not need to be topped up with air every day. The coating around the support cloth on Zodiac tenders is also said to provide excellent resistance against cuts, abrasion and weathering.
