RYA's 'biggest book' to be a festive best-seller

RYA Manual of Seamanship

The RYA Manual of Seamanship, “the RYA's biggest ever book,” is to be launched with a party at the London Boat Show, but actually it is available now, and looks set to be a festive best-seller.

Written by Yachtmaster guru Tom Cunliffe, this is said to be the most comprehensive and practical guide to seamanship yet published. It takes readers from the simplest task of how to coil a rope through to heavy weather boat handling.

Intended as an essential guide for anyone taking Day Skipper and Yachtmaster courses, the book deserves a place on more experienced yachtsmen's shelves too.

The book is available from the RYA at www.rya.org.uk at £19.99 or £17.99 to RYA members.
