We once got a very useful piece of aluminium tube from a television aerial supplier. I suupose these days they only do dishes!

One of our neighbours has just had a huge conventional aerial erected for his TV. He probably thinks that the analogue TV service will continue for ever!

 I will try our local aerial supplier. It's worth a go otherwise I will have to ditch the dan buoy (which has been used for just half a season) and buy a new one.

Plastic tube is a great cure all and if you fill it with builders foam (you can stiffen it/make it into a dan buoy rod./pick up type Dan Buoy-

Why not replace with Fishing rod blank ?

Trip to local DIY emporium - they have racks of ally tube and plastic piping.

Fishermens dan buoys /poles etc can be had for a song at any commercial fishing suppliers
