Cathy, Thanks for the polo shirt - great quality and I've noticed it receiving a few glances (I'm sure it was the shirt, not the wearer) around the club. I'm also very impressed with the number of views the Y23 article has had - over 5300 when I looked this morning in a period of less than 4 weeks. Richard

I was really chuffed to receive my Polo shirt 'but', sorry to be a spoil sport, it must be the hot weather. I wear polo shirts to the office all year round. I had to pass on my excellent looking and well made Poloshirt from themainsail, because it was a cotton 'mix' that made me sweat buckets. My collegue in the office who was gifted it, found the same. A great shame as I would have been proud to wear it almost anywhere. sorry, Scotty.

I must admit I wear my polo shirt all the time (between washes) - I like the idea of showing off my hobby - been thinking of putting my RNLI 'Offshore 2008' sticker on my car - or would that be too much? Cheers Paul

You never know the RNLI sticker might save you from a parking ticket! It certainly works in seaside towns!

Talking of RNLI, I had a pager on my screen to alert me every time there was a 'call out' . I had to immoblise it as it bleeped so often! Good old RNLI !... go on Paul, stick it on and be proud to support the guys who don't stop to think of themselves.......selfless ! ? oh, sorry wrong blog.

Hi Scotty Sorry the shirt doesn't suit you. We went for the mix as they wash over and over without risk of shrinking and also dry much faster than pure cotton, which I find an advantage on the boat. Perhaps it will come into its own in cooler weather!

thanks Cathy, but I have to admit I throw nothing away easily and so some of my work polo shirts are now over 10 years old, they are always put on hot wash and still soldier on, cheers S.
