This was taken i the South of France. We'd spent a glorious day visitiing wonderful villages along the coast and eating at a fabulous port restaurant! Whilst we were waiting for the food to arrive we were enjoying Kir and Muscat and I was keeping an eye on the sunset....waiting for it to just dip behind the ourcrop of rocks, to give the perfect light....all in all a perfect end to a perfect day!

what wonderful colours Jon. I envy your experience of seeing it for real.

Fantastic pic, the light on the water giving the backdrop for the silhouetted yacht looks superb, not to mention the beautiful colours  from the sunset. What camera do you use and has the image been manipulated?

Thanks for the compliments. I use a Canon 400D, this one was taken using a Sigma 20 - 75mm lens. The pic was downloaded and the only processing was the levels to convert them from .RAW to .jpg. The original image is about 30 megabyte so I had to drastically resize it to get it small enough to upload on here.
