I met this young woman last year at a a presentation she made at HOG - Henley Offshore Group.It was one of those inspiring occasions that energised me the following weekend to make my first solo and overnight passage.  'Nothing great about that' I hear others thinking. Well, the first time for me it was great and exciting. It certainly focuses and channels the mind and I would thoroughly recommend it in the right yacht, with a reasonable amount of experience.  It was a similar inspiration that led me to purchasing my own yacht after reading Helen Macarthurs  Taking on the World.Women have had a great influence on my life !!!???       Scotty
