Well literally just behind  Bruces left shoulder-to right looking at picture is a very tight cosy little bay where I may try putting down a winter mooring this year.I was out surveying it in my dingy yesterday.

As there appears to be still snow on mountains just below Bruces left wrist pic must have been taken back in May sometime?

if I remember correctly it was March that we took the boat to kip.There were people ski-ing on Aanoch Mor so it must have been early in the year. as we were sailing round Bute we had whiteout conditions so we hid inside and left the skipper to it

Yes winter was still very much with us then-it took until mid June for snow to disappear on those hills-still some about on Ben Nevis.
