Everybody enjoy quiet nights at anchor in the midle of nowhere, without being annoted by a GSP alarm warning your anchor is dragging !

In the Med there is always the bad wind and the bad time, especially at night, for example, Libeccio in Corsica, you think you anchor in the shelter of some paradisiac place for a quiet night, the wind is flat calm but, in the midle of the night, during an hour, some 40 knts gusts come to make the hell in the place !
After many years of searches and trials to get a really reliable anchoring gear for my 47'/13tons yacht, I think I have found a good one among the large variety of hooks on the market around the world.
On rocks bottoms I still use a DELTA , but on all others such as weeds, sand gravels or mud I have experienced the high holding power of a strange one comming froma USA and called XYZ. Despite its strange design this light anchor (7 kg) is holding perfectly, I have experienced some bad weather , wind up to 30 knts , but we were able to sleep quite comfortably, after having checked during early trials , this little hook was digging deeper and deeper in the bottom , increasing there fore the holding effect.
More about this anchor is on http://www.xyzanchor.com/ (Before I decided to buy one, I was in touch with the man in charge name Drago, he is very friendly and answer quickly to inquiries)
