Hi Doc, I think sailing schools may hire stuff, as they do for their clients on short courses. As you are starting in Ipswich, the East Anglian Sea School at Levington might be worth a try. www.eastanglianseaschool.co.uk. But don't be fooled into thinking you will not need wet weather gear in the Med! You can have very heavy rain and very big seas at times. Chartering in high summer, we took waterproofs on the charter company's advice, and were jolly glad of them at times. Maybe you should invest in some lightish oilies (coastal, rather than ocean weight, as it will be warmer in the Med) and then make sure you put plenty of fleeces under them for the delivery trip!
